I began travel planning in 2001 for conference tours of a national legislators association in major cities across the United States.
In 2006, I joined a Charleston-based travel agency specializing in cruises.
I really got into cruise planning when I won a contract to book the South Carolina Education Lottery cruise prizes with Carnival Cruise Lines.
I earned my Master Cruise Counselor certification from CLIA in 2008 and later joined Travel Experts, a Virtuoso partner, as a home-based agent.
My clients come from all over the US, and I enjoy planning their travel to exciting destinations world-wide.

Our adventure began in Stockholm, where we embarked on the Celebrity Constellation to virtually every major city in the Baltic region. Every port was fascinating, but the highlight was beautiful St. Petersburg home of the world-famous Hermitage Museum and the suburb of Pushkin, site of Catherine the Great's awe-inspiring Summer Palace.
Burgundy & Provence
We flew into Marseilles and rode to Arles, a former Roman provincial capital with well-preserved architectural ruins. We sailed along the lovely Rhone and Saone Rivers on the Uniworld Royale. The scenery was breath-taking as we passed mountains covered with vineyards and beautiful fields of gold and green with beautiful chateaus. Every day we would stop in another town or city and sample French Provincial living.
We sailed aboard the MSC Poesia to Costa Rica and visited its enchanting rainforests. We were fascinated by the locks during a cruise excursion part way through the Panama Canal. A private tour in Cartagena, Columbia was a highlight that included a visit to an emerald factory and delicious seafood at a local restaurant.
We flew to Mendoza, the heart of Argentine wine country, and enjoyed delicious wines and gourmet lunches at the vineyards. In Buenos Aires, we toured the city, went to a spectacular Tango Club dinner-show and then boarded the Celebrity Infinity for a 13-day sail around Cape Horn to Valparaiso, Chile's main port. Our favorite stop was Ushuaia, the southernmost city on the planet where we feasted on native spider crabs.
Monte Carlo to Civitavecchia
We "island-hopped" (Corsica, Sardinia, Sicily) the Med aboard the Seabourn Legend, a beautiful, small cruise ship with outstanding, all-inclusive service. As hosts for Virtuoso Voyages, we escorted 30 guests on a tour of Malta, with a gourmet lunch at the Palazzo Parisio in Mdina.
Lisbon to Rome
We hosted a Virtuoso Club cruise aboard Silversea's Sea Wind from Lisbon along Spain's Costa del Sol, up to Barcelona and down the Italian Riviera to Rome. Our exclusive Virtuoso tour was a day in Barcelona, visiting the old city, Gaudi's Guell Park and his incredible "unfinished" basilica, the Sagrada Familia.
After a wonderful stay in an over-the-water cottage on the island of Moorea, we embarked on a week-long cruise of French Polynesia aboard the Paul Gauguin. We sailed to several gorgeous, mostly undeveloped islands, including Bora Bora, and became immersed in Polynesian culture on the islands and through music and dance performances aboard ship. The people we met were attractive, sweet and delighted to teach us their history and lifestyle.
