I started my travel career in 1988 as an outside sales person to recruit potential corporate clients for a small travel agency in uptown Charlotte, NC. My interest peaked in moving to the travel advisor role by hanging around the office during lunch time and helping with walkin inquiries and answering phones. It didn't take long for my employer see my potential and transitioned me into the new role of travel advisor. I would take travel brochures home at night and study them. This was before all the knowledge was at our fingertips! In the end I ran the uptown office for several years and when the owners moved to another city I opened my own office in the location.
With all my years of experience I have traveled extensively on many modes of tranportation around the world always looking for new experiences and adventure. Some of my favorites have been the African safari, Eqypt, as I experienced climbing down inside a pyramid, diving the Great Barrier Reef, experiencing the tranqulity of the Galapagos Island and the beauty of the rolling land in Scotland and Ireland.
