For 12 years I have been planning leisure travel, yet I have been a traveler for my whole life.

Growing up, my family traveled frequently and I have continued the travel tradition with my own family. Many of the trips that I plan are for families. This is very fulfilling for me, as I believe that to travel with children or young adults opens their world, sparks their imaginations and can influence what they want to do with their lives.

My travels have taken me all over the world, including Belize, Zambia, China, Cambodia, Thailand, Iceland, Alaska and Australia.

When asked what my favorite trip has been, it is very hard to answer, because for different reasons, all of my trips are my favorites. There is a special memory or experience from each and every trip that makes it the “best one.”

Helping my clients create unique memories and enjoy new experiences is the best part of my job.

Botswana and Zambia
My family and I went on safari in beautiful Botswana and Zambia. We stayed at 3 fantastic tented camps—Little Vumbura on the Okavanga Delta, King’s Pool on the Linyanti Plains and Toka Leya on the Zambezi River. We saw the Big 5—yes, we saw rhinos—and had a day at the stunning Victoria Falls. Fell in love again with this continent!

Africa
Flying on Emirates Airlines to Africa allows you to stopover in Dubai. We spent three nights in this mind blowing city after our safari. Great stopover!

Belize
My family and I headed to Belize for 7 nights, 3 at Caves Branch adventure jungle lodge and 4 on the beautiful beach in Placencia at Chabil Mar. Loved the combination of jungle adventure and beach relaxation. The food was delicious, people were very friendly and it is an easy destination to get to.

Washington DC
On a visit to our nation’s capital, I had the good fortune to stay at the Capella Hotel in Georgetown and the Ritz Carlton. It has a fantastic rooftop pool and bar as well as a beautiful bright dining room overlooking the historic C&O canal. The Ritz Carlton is very centrally located for leisure or business, large rooms and a beautiful, serene club level.

Panama
On a fun trip to Panama, we spent 2 nights at the Waldorf Astoria in Panama City, which has a unique rooftop pool, and is a great base for exploring the city. We then took an easy flight to the islands of Bocas del Toro. There was so much to do here—kayaking, snorkeling, jungle trekking and caving to name a few!

Italy
A 20 year anniversary trip with my husband. We spoiled ourselves and stayed at The Luna Baglioni in Venice, the Hotel Lungarno in Florence and the Grand Hotel Tremezzo on Lake Como. All were beautiful, well located and had exceptional service.

Colorado River Trip
This was a lifetime highlight trip with my family and our best friends. OARS was our river outfitter and our guides, the Dale family, are the best guides on the river. For seven days we made our way down the river in wooden dories, had gorgeous camp spots every night and delicious meals every day. And....no electronics!

Paris
Family trip with my sister, brother and father at the Shangri La hotel. Gorgeous hotel in a spectacular location. We had a suite with an incredible view of the Eiffel Tower. Dinner on the terrace, catered by the hotel's Michelin starred restaurant Shang Palace, morning coffee watching a rain storm come in over the Seine---this hotel is a beautiful sanctuary of Parisian living.

London, England
We stayed at the beautiful Stafford hotel, which is in the perfect location and has such a warm and attentive staff. Riding the London Eye, renting bikes in Hyde Park, having a private guide take us around Westminster Abbey were just a few of the memories we made on this trip.

China and Cambodia
Beijing is fascinating with the ancient mixed with the new. A private visit to a hutong is a must. In Cambodia the temples of Angor Wat are beautiful and mysterious. The Aman resorts in both countries, Aman at the Summer Palace and Amansara in Siem Reap are fantastic!

Iceland
Going to Iceland is like visiting a younger version of planet Earth. Geysers, fjords, rugged mountains, and thermal pools make up this gorgeous island. Reykjavik is a European city with delicious food and lively nightlife. Iceland is a must for outdoor enthusiasts.
