With an insatiable passion to see the world, not simply to push pins into a map, I seek out truly enriched cultural experiences.
I know it is the smell of a country garden while biking through the Bordeaux Valley that will bring you back. You will recall the weight of a rain shower while rafting the Pacuare River in Costa Rica years after the trip. The sound of a troop of baboons scampering through your Kenyan Camp and the goosebumps that follow will not soon be forgotten.
At Aces Abroad, I create international excursions that will ignite all of your senses and create memories that last a lifetime. I bring 20 years of experience in business management and travel consulting and an acute focus on detail to create extraordinary adventures.
For families, groups and corporations I offer expertise in destination selection, customized itinerary design, supplier negotiations, logistics, budget management and when needed onsite management.
I have extensive knowledge of the lesser known Central and South American countries.

Everyone is Irish, right? This is a country where the people you encounter along the way are as special as the sights you see. Traveling from Galway to Dublin, our highlights included Cliffs of Moher, Ashford Castle, Connemara, Glendalough/Powerscourt, and a grand finale at the Guinness Storehouse.
Move over Costa Rica, there is a new ADVENTURE DESTINATION to consider! Iceland offers off-road four wheeling, glacier hikes, hot springs and cold springs, horse back riding, and a vibrant nightlife in Reykjavik. And you must go for a dip in the Blue Hole!
My new favorite family destination. This city, I dare say, is more beautiful than Prague. Budapest offers fantastic riverfront hotels, public hotsprings that look like palaces, a pedestrian-loving city center, beautiful parks and unbelievable architecture by day and night. Oh, did I mention the food!?
This was my 11th trip to Costa Rica. With 250 people who wanted to learn to surf, we hit Tamarindo and the Guanacaste peninsula with great verve! The "ticos" were lovely and hospitable and the surfing rocked! Always a favorite of mine.
A few days in the jungle spelunking in caves, tubing down rivers, and exploring great Mayan ruins was followed by the easy-going island life of San Pedro on Ambergris Caye. Belize still protects its shores from common Caribbean mega-resorts. Its quaint and easy.
Panama and the Canal
There are so many things about Panama that I find fascinating. A cruise through the Panama Canal misses 90% of what makes this man-made wonder so wonderful! Panama offers rain forest, beach, history, wildlife, 7 unique Indian cultures, and a very metropolitan city.
