Lisa L. Prosser

Although I am native of landlocked Indiana, my love of the nautical life has taken me all over the world.

I have explored everything from canals to rivers, and open oceans. I captained our Cheoy Lee, a long distance trawler, throughout the waters of the Midwest, Southern US, and South Atlantic, through the Caribbean and down to the West Indies.

My hands-on yachting experience gives me a unique understanding of the complexity of yachting and the importance of attention to every detail. My extensive contacts in the yachting industry include the best captains, chefs, and crew; making every aspect of the yacht charter experience exquisite. I regularly monitor and inspect yacht charter inventories in the USA and abroad. I insist on meeting the crew and touring not only the guest areas, but the engine room and galley as well.

“I employ a comprehensive interview process to create a successful charter. Over 50 questions help me pair each guest with the appropriate vessel, experiential itinerary, and seasoned crew. I take the time to get to know each client; gathering everything from basic passenger information and ship types to sailing preferences, detailed menus, and activity selections

A strong relationship focus is crucial to creating a seamless, luxury yachting experience that’s perfectly tailored to my clients. It’s about creating those ‘WOW!’ moments. Yachting is a unique experience that stays in your blood forever! I want my charter clients to experience what I know will be the ultimate private vacation.”

Seattle, WA
The Puget Sound was on my bucket list so while visiting Seattle I made sure to take the Ferry and experience this awesome waterway. The Fish Market, the restaurants, the Starbucks Roastery and the town of Seattle in general is a great place to visit.

Ft. Lauderdale, FL
Attending the Ft. Lauderdale Boat Show is a must to maintain my knowledge of the yacht charter inventory. I tour the yachts, meet crew and Captains and sample the Chefs delightful creations. Of course it is always fun to check out the newest "water toys" as well.

Colorado Springs, CO
Visiting the Broadmoor is always a grand experience. This time, I stayed in the West Building which is beautiful. I toured the newest areas; Cloud Camp and The Ranch at Emerald Valley and took a day to go up to Pikes Peak by the cog-wheel train.

Virgin Gorda, St. Lucia, Montserrat, Grenada and Trinidad
While cruising down island from St. Thomas aboard our Trawler, we visited many Caribbean Islands. These five island stand out in my memory. Virgin Gorda for the flora, St. Lucia for the town and marina, Montserrat for the people, Grenada for new infrastructure, Trinidad for the rain forest. Uniquely beautiful.

Portugal
This Eastern most European Country is simply artistic. From the castles to the gardens, to the shops to the micro-climates to the soups and to the Fado Singers. Fabulous!

Italy
We visited Rome, Naples, the Almalfi Coast and Capri Island. How could anyone not fall in love with the Almalfi Coast? It is one of the most picturesque and romantic places I've ever visited. Champaign for breakfast, wine with lunch and dinner, great conversations, tiny shops, artists abound.
