My passion for travel was ignited when I was a buyer for a local department store. I was 25, and my husband joined me for a buying trip to Paris, our first trip to Europe. We flew on TWA, and in the taxi from the airport to the Hotel Crillon, I saw the Eiffel Tower, for me the symbol of Paris. At that moment my worldview changed, and I have never been the same.

Since that time I have been lucky enough to have more of these
"defining moments", both large and small; opening the hotel room curtains to glimpse Hong Kong harbor for the first time, standing on the steps of the Peterhof in St. Petersburg, witnessing the most beautiful blue sky in Antarctica, enjoying a fairytale bush dinner in Africa, to name a few.

As your travel advisor, it is my mission to work with you in a collaborative effort in order for you to experience such moments.

Singapore to Shanghai
My husband and I had the privilege of hosting a Virtuoso Voyages event on a segment of the Silversea World Cruise. We began on land in Singapore. Overnight visits to Saigon and Hong Kong allowed in-depth exploration. Ending in Shanghai-a most amazing city that is constantly reinventing itself.

Australia including Tasmania
Sydney, Rock and Reef-terrific. But fell in love with Tasmania. Charming galleries and restaurants, MONA, abundant wildlife, history, gorgeous Saffire Freycinet, a spectacular lodge on a heavenly beach, Cradle Mountain hiking-and fabulous food and wine. It truly has it all.

French Polynasia
It was a business trip, but what a trip!
Classic Vacations took 10 agents, and we stayed in the famous over the water bungalows of Bora Bora, snorkeled with sharks and rays; were awed by the majestic vistas of Moorea; and rejuvenated by swimming in the bluest water possible.

I wasn't crazy about Rome on my first trip 30 years ago, but this time I hated to leave. Glad I did, though, because the Amalfi Coast beckoned. As beautiful as I had dreamed, with stays in Positano and Capri. Revisted Florence and Chianti. Italy never disappoints.

One of my most fascinating trips, even better the second time. My heart goes out to the tourism industry there. Such wonderful people, beautiful accomodations-incredible history-I'm glad that tourists are returning.
